Dinosaur Mysteries: The Secret Life and Times:

Be a paleontologist and dig and record dinosaur bones in the 8 x 75-foot-long dinosaur dig. The best-simulated dinosaur dig on the California Central Coast. Mysteries of the Hebrew Egyptian Civilizations:
Immerse yourself in the life and times of the Hebrews while they were under the rule of the Egyptian Empire. From Abraham, Joseph, Moses, and Jesus – a period of nearly 2000 years – the history of the Hebrews and Egyptians has been closely entwined together. The Bible we use today is better understood in the light of Egyptian/Hebrew Archeology. With over 50 Egyptian artifacts and models, this exhibit offers the chance to explore a simulated Archeological Dig, write Egyptian Hieroglyphics, and learn more about ancient mysteries in a Biblical context. Dakota Mac blends our modern-day fascination with Ancient Egyptian civilization into historically accurate Old Testament records from the Bible. He demonstrates mummy-making and discusses how the mummy identified by modern scholars as “Unknown Man E” might actually be the Pharaoh’s son who died during the Biblical Plagues of Egypt. This demonstration features a life-size replica of King Tut’s sarcophagus!
Inventors Workshop:
Explore many inventions of our ancestors as far back as the 1800s that showcase how intelligent ancient humans were! Explore antique electronics going back to 1910, including the first Spark Gap Telegraph, the Wireless Telegraph, collectible radios, and computers. Many examples up until the 1980s. Highlighted too is Peter Langlo’s collection of 1920s radios, of which he has donated several to the museum. Other Christian inventors and discoverers will also be featured, starting with Sir Isaac Newton. “Life-Changing Events” – Inventions of the last 100 years. Many things we take for granted today were inventions that changed the world. The museum will highlight some of them. There are many hands-on activities for all ages.
Bible Weapons for War and Peace:
As is true of Israel today, every Israelite in the Old Testament time was trained to be a warrior to defend his home, town, and nation from Godless conquers. Throughout history we see, not only in the Bible, but in the world around us that there are certain nations and leaders who want to control and dominate the whole world. This has been going on since the time in Genesis 10:10 and Gen.11 when Nimrod built the Tower of Babel to dominate and control the world. God tells us as Christians to live a quiet and peaceful life striving to get along with all people. (1 Timothy 2:2.) However sometimes people, including Christians, have to rise up in arms to protect their freedoms from power crazy dictators who defy God‘s word and His plan for the nations. We saw this example in World War II. We are seeing that happening again today in several nations where dictators want to control. God has ordained that we protect our families, our homes, towns, or nation. (Luke 12:39) Jesus said “But understand this: If the homeowner had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.”
Unknown Native American Technology:
Did you know that when Columbus came, this continent was filled with advanced and sophisticated Indian Nations with civilizations rivaling those of Europe? It’s true! When Columbus came, this continent was filled with advanced and sophisticated Indian Nations with civilizations rivaling those of Europe. The museum boasts over 100 Indian artifact models. Dakota Mac’s teaching goal has been to give students the big picture of Indian life and technology by offering hands-on, interactive experiences to explore and understand how life was for the Indian Nations. Dakota Mac brings his strong connection to nature and wildcraft experience living in the mountains of Washington as a child and then the rivers and valleys of Minnesota later in life. He enjoyed teaching his children the ways of the forest, and upon discovering his own ancestral lineage connection, he became even more excited to teach Native American studies. His programs have been approved by the Indian Board of the Anoka School District; one of the largest school districts in Minnesota. He was invited to share at the Lower Brule Indian Reservation in South Dakota and Circle of Life, Anashinobe Indian Nation in northern Minnesota.
