Tours

At Flood Evidence Tours, you will explore powerful visual evidence for the global Flood recorded in Scripture right in the rock layers of Canon City. This guided field tour begins at 920 Field Avenue (one mile north of Highway 50) and travels six miles up Red Canyon Road, making three key stops during a 1.5-hour experience.

Along the route, guests encounter dinosaur quarry sites where multiple animals are buried together, massive sedimentary layers rising nearly 1,000 feet, shale formed by moving water, limestone and Niobrara deposits, coal seams, and nearby granite mountains discussed in light of the Genesis Flood timeline. Participants can handle fossils, observe rock layers up close, and see how these features point to rapid, large-scale geological processes.

Scripture is read on location as the tour connects the Ark, the Flood covenant with Noah, and the lineage from Adam to Christ with the physical evidence in the landscape—equipping families, churches, and students to understand and defend the reality of Noah’s Flood.

Tour Highlights

• Three field stops along Red Canyon Road
• Hands-on fossils and rock layer observation
• Nine stacked sedimentary layers visible for photos
• Eleven geological evidences for a global Flood

An optional self-guided companion experience using the book Flood Evidence Along Skyline Drive is also available for those who want to continue learning while driving west of town.
