The Ernst Glück Bible Museum

The Ernst Glück Bible Museum offers the chance to get acquainted with the “Journey of the Bible” from the very first Latvian Bible, translated by E. Gliks in Alūksne, to modern editions. The exhibition features Bibles in 40 languages ​​of the world, various editions of sermons and hymnbooks. An opportunity to read texts in old script, experience the development of the language over the centuries and get acquainted with the method and mechanism of printing the Gutenberg Bible.
